Madison Public Library
The original Madison Carnegie Public Library was built in the early 1900’s with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation. Because of such grants, Madison was able to provide library services to the area for the last many years.

Monday – Friday: 10:00 am – 1:00pm & 1:30pm – 5:30pm (closed 1:00-1:30pm for lunch)
Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00 pm

The Madison Public Library Board is comprised of nine voting board members who advise the head librarian on all aspects of library services. In keeping with Minn. Stat. 134, the City Council of Madison, Minnesota may appoint up to four board members from the rural areas serviced by the library with the majority of five from within the city limits.
