What the EDA does for the City of Madison?
The Madison City Council established the Madison Economic Development Authority in 1989 through the use of an enabling resolution. The organization was established in compliance with Minn. Stat. 469 et. seq. Madison has seven authority members with two being elected from the city council and five from the community at large. Of the five, two are from the banking and financial community.
Meetings
1st Monday of each month at 5:00 pm in the Madison Municipal Building (City Hall). Other special meetings as required.
