Lac qui Parle Valley School District
The City of Madison is the home to the Madison Marietta and Nassau Elementary school which includes grades K through 4.
Lac qui Parle Valley High School, located 12 miles northeast of Madison), opened in 1990 and features up-to-date classrooms, labs, large commons area, theater, gymnasium, and indoor swimming pool.
Lac qui Parle Valley serves grades five through twelve and offers a broad curriculum in an ultra-modern setting. It is also one of very few schools to have its own Wind Turbine to help power the school’s own electrical needs.
Lac qui Parle Valley School is the result of the consolidation of four Lac qui Parle area school districts after the Madison High School was destroyed by fire in 1987.
